• 500 g flour • 350 ml warm water • 10 g salt • 7 g active dry yeast • 50 ml olive oil

- Kneading the dough: In a large bowl, add all the ingredients. Knead quickly for 1–2 minutes until you get a homogeneous and non-sticky dough.
- Proofing: Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Shaping the breadsticks: Turn the dough onto a floured work surface and divide it into two. Roll out each piece into a sheet about 0.5 cm thick. Cut strips about 1 cm wide.
