Fluffy as little clouds, these yogurt doughnuts are made directly with a spoon, no kneading required, and are ready as soon as the sweet craving hits.
Craving something sweet but don't feel like kneading and waiting for dough? These yogurt doughnuts are the magic solution: they're fluffy as little clouds, made directly with a spoon, and disappear from the plate faster than they were cooked! 😂
🛒 Ingredients you need:
- 250g Yogurt (Greek or creamy)
- 2 Eggs
- 3-4 tablespoons Sugar (or your favorite sweetener)
- 250-300g Flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- Flavors: vanilla, lemon zest, or rum (don't be stingy!) 🍋
- A pinch of salt
- Oil for frying & powdered sugar for decoration
👩🍳 How to make them:
- Mix the eggs with the sugar and salt until foamy.
- Add the yogurt and flavors, then mix well.
- Sift the flour with the baking powder and incorporate them until you have a thick batter that stays on the spoon.
- Heat the oil and, with a spoon previously dipped in oil, place small portions in to fry.
- Turn them on all sides until they become golden and irresistible.
- Take them out on a paper towel, powder them well, and... DONE!
💡 The secret: Fry them over medium heat! If the heat is too high, they brown on the surface and stay uncooked in the middle.
